Hello Everybody and welcome to my website!

My name is Laurent, I am french and I am 25 years old.
I have been collecting basketball trading cards for 16 years now. I entered the hobby with the european version of upper deck trading cards in 1992 and until 1999 I didn't really collect any player especially, just bursting packs and buying a few becketts when I could find some. After a break between 1999 and 2002, I came back for two main reasons: I found a french trading board (www.basket-cards.com) on the internet and it was the Rookie year of French point guard Tony Parker.

I decided at that time to change my way of collecting and began to collect Olajuwon cards, a player who had already made me dream before. I wanted to collect a famous player with great skills, not too expensive for my collection but with a lot of cards.
Also, my choice was very influenced by a set that I found really good looking at that time: the huge swatch in 1999-00 hoops decade genuine coverage set. A french trading cards shop was selling Olajuwon and Mcdyess 's cards in that set and I have ordered the Olajuwon jersey card which is the first Olajuwon card I have ever bought. I have completed this set of jerseys ever since.

I have been collecting Olajuwon for 6 years now and I am proud to be one the best 3 Olajuwon collectors in the world (may be the best). I have built this website to show you my entire collection of cards with 1783 different pieces today. I collect neither jumbo cards nor post-carrier cards so, agree to the whole information I have been able to get, I still need around 113 different cards that you can find on my wantlist page.
